Mister ...
I'll probably get the Wii version of TP, as I plan on getting a Wii.  Probably not right when it comes out, but eventually.  I should have a job by then, so yeah.

But, just because the Wii is GCN compatable as well, I might get the GCN TP version first, and then get the Wii version as well.
So does this mean the Wii can play GC games?
>_<

...

yes.

...
but will you get the same effect with the gamecube version the with the wii version....

not so sure, there sohuld be difference :o

The last question is about The Wind Waker being criticized for being too short and too easy.  Aonuma clarifies that The Wind Waker was meant to be for anyone, so that anyone could beat it.  But Twilight Princess is for the hardcore fan.  It already has surpassed Ocarina of Time in dungeons and size.  His real objective is to make the hardcore Zelda fan look forward to Twilight Princess.

Ready and willing.
I think my brain just exploded from trying to read the comments there.

I should also mention...

Phantom Hourglass sucks.  There, i said it.  It's horrible.

EDIT: Here's the entire article.
Any time I see a blanket statement like that I'm inclined to ignore it, because no reasons are given and there is therefore no way in which to calibrate his tastes to mine.  Especially when it's emphatically negative, given the way people overexaggerate opinions on the net.
What luck, there's french fry stuck in my beard.
TSA gives several reasons...

Wow ... it DOES sound terrible. 0.0
Hopefully they'll change it to + Control Pad control - to me, it makes no sense whatsoever to make the game entirely controlled by the stylus. Absolutely ridiculous.
Mister ...
It doesn't matter, I plan on getting PH, as I am big Zelda fan.  Not looking forward to stylus controls though.

Yeah, I'm looking forward to these new challenges.  I have a feeling that I'll still have the game beat in a week or less from when I open it.

EDIT: stupid Bug/Big typo.  I blame my new keyboard

ROFL.

Now why would they do that? Maybe the Wii version wasn't ready yet.

Also, if the graphics from the Gamecube version were that good, imagine the Wii version... secksay.

olololol

that's funny.

i imagine that the Wii version will have minimal changes in graphics but you never know. 16:9 also taxes some power and the GC wasn't that good at fill rates (just look at RE4)

stylus only gameplay for PH sounds iffy. i'm not convinced. i'd like to have at least buttons as an alternate control method (like in ACWW and SM64DS)

Hah, Nintendo is awesome. Love when they pull stuff over people's heads.
@Twilight Princess: Oh man, this will hurt my wallet...
As you might know, I am THE Zelda fan and I have to get all the games. Means: I will get the GCN + Wii version (although they might be the same)

Now imagine: Getting Wii + TP GCN + TP Wii + Metroid Prime 3 + Red Steel + 2nd Wii Remote + 2nd Nunchuk (if not included) at ONE day...
*calculates*

~ $500 ???

ouch.

Oh, shush. The demo may have sucked, but they still have, like, half a year to fix up the ONE thing people were complaining about.

What's that one thing?

What ... what did you expect? Games cost unnecessary amounts of money; they always have. imo that's a pretty darn good deal for a console and a bunch of games on release day.

*shrugs* I just started saving last month, and I already have two hundred dollars. It's really not too bad if you just set aside money for a long amount of time.

Fixed.  That game was teh ugly...
Mister ...
Now, honestly, what would you rather pay?

$500 for the Wii and all the accesories and two games or $500 just for a PS2 or Xbox 360?

My vote is the $500 on the Wii.

Had a dream that when the Wii came out, it was selling for $120 instead of $200 to celebrate the launch of the Wii.  Would be sweet if that were to happen.  Get yours, and Get it fast!!!

I don't see the point. It really looks good to me. Okay, I haven't played it ONCE, but that might change before the release.
And it's not THAT ugly... ?!?!

:D Cool. Now that's really cool. :D

Right. $50 or $60 is very overpriced for "just" a game.

Absolutely

Yeah, I will do the same. But $500 are $500, no matter, that's a lot of money!
But compared with "just" a xbox360 or ps3 console...  Twisted Evil
Red Steel is NOT ugly. It's about what I'd expect from the first wave of games for a new console. It always takes a while to push things to the limit. The ONLY thing I've seen regular complaints about is the sensitivity of the controller and the motion-controlled moves, and in half a year, that is guaranteed to change.
