I can't remember where I heard this, but apparently in the first edition release of the game, in the very top corner (don't know if it's left or right) of the Crocomire room, there's an unmarked boost block that leads you into a glitched room. I think I might have one of these said copies, but I can't verify this because either my game or SNES is severely messed up. (i.e. in super metroid boss doors don't fight; you fall halfway through any slope you walk on. many other things mees up on SM. Certain other games will not work as well.)
Thread title:
I like Big Butts and I can not lie
false/non existant/rumur/uncoded
have you tested it?
I like Big Butts and I can not lie
many have tryed, failed and rom viewed there way there
O RLY? How can you know they're not playing on the first edition copy?
Embarrasing Fact: Power suit made by lowest bidder
The very idea of such a secret world is EXTREMELY farfetched, it's not possible in the room in the way described, and there is only 1 version of the game (not counting PAL).
Yes, I have looked into all the information, disassembled the rom, tried lots of stuff. I know exactly what I'm saying. The idea of a green chozo room isn't entirely impossible (but extremely improbable), but the method described to reach it *is* flat out impossible.
Perhaps your method and mine are different. You do the mockball and bounce up there, is this what you have heard?
I('d) like to watch (some MP3 runs)
Yeah, go test it out and stuff, kej.  Freaking noob, kej! omgomgomgomgomgomg

You cannot, while inside the roommap, trigger a bad room transition without some SERIOUS glitching such as the space/time beam.
Going outside the right of the roommap leads into a repeat of the roommap. Still no possible bad room transitions.
There *is* a hole in the roof... but it's not accessible unless you're going at least 10 pixels fast, both horizontally and vertically. Which isn't possible in that location.
And apparently I'm a newb because Scarlet said so. ;_;
here the complete explenation taken from Brickroads glitch faq on www.gamefaqs.com how your sopposed to do it and why it doesnt work.

A. The Green Chozo  (met.bogus.green)
  Source: Metroid Database (Mike Z.)
You Need: Speed Booster, Spring Ball
  Disproven By: ???

Explanation: Legend has it that a green Chozo statue lives offscreen of Crocomire's room.

Where to do it, supposedly: Crocomire's room, once you've dealt with its original occupant.

How to do it, supposedly: This glitch requires the Speedball (met.exploit.speedball), so
practice it (or don't, because this glitch is fake).  Get a running start and pull off a
Speedball (you're supposed to start the jump at the third plant from the right), only
hold [jump] instead of just tapping it.  You'll bounce in the lava and hit the top block in
the wall next to where the Energy Tank was (assuming you've got it already).  You're then
supposed to break through that block and land near a green Chozo statue, after which the
  game freezes.

  Why it doesn't work: First off, the reason you're bouncing isn't because of the Speedball;
it's because you have the Spring Ball equipped.  Holding [jump] always makes you bounce
while you're morphed with the Spring Ball on.  Secondly, this simply doesn't work.  It's been
tried hundreds of times by now, certainly, on all different versions of the game.  If you
really want to convince yourself, trigger the Blue Suit Glitch first (met.exploit.bluesuit),
go to Crocomire's room, and Spring Ball your way through tbe block.  The block simply doesn't
open.  Even if you were able to somehow open that wall and get into another room, the room
just to the right of the Energy Tank space is a Save Point; not a Chozo statue
*whistles* renegade BTS transition *whistles*

Default transitions are static, there are transitions that are seemingly random once you get in a screen repeat, but checking tiles says that there aren't speed blocks.  There are the illusion of crumple blocks up there, that's about it.  GG nub
Embarrasing Fact: Power suit made by lowest bidder
actually, there are blocks in Crocamire's roof that DO break if you shoot them right. Break as in, turn into air that you can go through. If you manage to get up there to begin with, since they're all behind very solid, unbreakable blocks.
And on that note, I FINALLY went and traced/disassembled/tested/traced and disassassembled some more Crocamire's crumble blocks. So now I know *why* they break even though SMILE clearly shows them as solid blocks. Although it's not abusable anywhere I can see, and I glanced through *every* room in the game. :(

Quick info for anyone curious:
The glitch only works in the right half of rooms 8 screens wide. I don't think height matters.
The glitch only works on a given block depending on the next block's graphic.
To break the block, a beam must have horizontal movement, go near the top of the screen, and EXPAND to reach up past the top of the screen.
The guilty code: Beam size is checked to see if it's all in the room, then the beam size is updated by graphics, THEN it checks block collisions (which is why it's possible at all). Also, it's missing a clear carry (which is why it's possible in the right half of the screen).

and yeah. I can't even find a single block breakable with this glitch, except for Crocamire's room and the room in upper Norfair with leeches and speed blocks. And the latter room randomly has a row of the right graphic blocks for NO LOGICAL REASON.
I'm sorely tempted to acuse Super Metroid's original programmers of attempting to drive glitch-hunters insane with random stuff like that.
