Notes:
- In any room with a Terminal Fall and Dark Splinters, you can destroy them without them leaping at you. Simply stand next to the Terminal Fall so that if the Dark Splinters were to leap at you, they would fall off and never been seen again. Now, you can freely shoot at them without worry, as appearantly, they are intelligent enough to not leap and put their lives at risk. They won't attack you, and they will stay their distance. It is unknown whether Splinters act like Dark Splinters in this case.
- GMCF Compound is a great starting room to use this trick.
