To do this trick, and to get the "instant unmorph", I am almost positive you must lock the camera somehow. Meaning, you must do it in a doorway, or somewhere where the ceiling prohibits the camera from doing the 3rd person zoom. In many situations when the camera is stuck under a door you cannot unmorph. I think the key is to situate the camera so that it can return to samus, but with difficulty. In other words, give the camera something to rub up against, and let it slip back to samus, giving you an instant unmorph.

If we can get this to work very well, can't we use it to get up to the scanner on the Great Bridge in Torvus? (To bypass the few minutes of portals and such on the normal way there)

Instant unmorph specifications

To do this trick, and to get the "instant unmorph", I am almost positive you must lock the camera somehow. Meaning, you must do it in a doorway, or somewhere where the ceiling prohibits the camera from doing the 3rd person zoom. In many situations when the camera is stuck under a door you cannot unmorph. I think the key is to situate the camera so that it can return to samus, but with difficulty. In other words, give the camera something to rub up against, and let it slip back to samus, giving you an instant unmorph.
