This happened to Walter Mitty after he hadn't saved for an hour (>_<)
If you enter this elevator without having the Echo Visor, do not shoot the area in the room where you would normally see the drone via the visor or the game will crash and reset. You would normally not be able to enter this room without getting the Echo Visor, but you can when you get the Screw Attack early.
