Sanctuary: Main Research Broken Sonic Locks

In main research, when using the echo visor to destroy the sonic emmiters in Sanctuary Main Research, if you should leave the room before destroying all the emmiters, upon returning to the room you will find all the emmiters destroyed but the sonic lock still in place.

This will completely halt your forward progression in the game. Should this bug occur do not save!. Instead, just restart now and load from your last save then go destroy the locks again.

If you do save, your game file will be ruined as there is no known way to progress should this bug occur. This bug will not occur under normal conditions if you do not exit the room once you begin destroying the emmiters.
