Breaking Tables with Style Transclusions

Hey Bearborg, I was wondering if you could take a look at Template:RMWBorder. It's just a string of numbers (a hex color code), but whenever I try to use it in a style tag my tables explode (example). It's an extremely simple template so I don't get what would cause it to do that. Same thing happens with Template:Border. Could it be a MediaWiki issue? Well, I did take a look, but I don't think I can really help much- I'm not too proficient with wiki markup, and it all looks to me like it should work. Bearborg (talk) 13:28, 27 January 2015 (CST)
