Necessary?

Is this template really necessary? There are a lot of other ways to denote that a file type is documented; for example, by tagging a Category on the article, or by creating a parameter in the infoboxes I'm assuming we'll eventually use that indicates whether the file type is fully documented or not. Having a notice template on every single page seems kind of unnecessary to me, which the proliferation of this template would eventually cause. Any thoughts? yeah, I agree. This template is not used on any pages. It used to be on the DSP page, but I removed it. This is pretty much just a leftover from when MrSinistar was kicking around ideas about how the research notice boxes should work... I did talk with him about it a little while ago and I think we're all in agreement it's unnecessary. It might be good to have a category for fully documented formats tho. --Parax0 (talk) 20:13, 29 January 2015 (CST)
