Boss Tricks: Mother Brain

Notes:

• If you jump right on the ledge where Mother Brain is, you can easily avoid its laser by going into the Morph Ball. To shoot Missiles while on the ledge, you have to hit up once while in the Morph Ball to go into the crouching position, then shoot Missiles diagonally up at its eye. Shoot and freeze the Rinkas to prevent their interference.
• These tricks allow you to fire two Super Missiles into Mother Brain's eye for every one Eye Beam, thus making the battle much faster.
• Trick 1 (below, left): If you fire a Super Missile at a downward angle so it hits just after the Eye Beam is released, she will not blink and it will allow you to get another shot in.
• Trick 2 (below, right): A much harder trick, you have to time the shot so it goes through the Eye Beam before it is solid, and into the eye once it's opened fully.
