In order to easily avoid the missiles AU shoots at you once it lands, simply continue boosting around the outside of the arena for a few seconds.
If you have good timing, shooting a Hyper Missile in front of a DS Clone in morph ball mode will most likely kill it in one shot.
Appendage by Samus Rox: You don't need to shoot a hyper missile, just one shot will do it.
Second Form

If you screw attack the head, it will stun AU 313 in one hit. You must hit its weak point for this to work. It is possible to SA through the head and not hit its weak point.
