A precise screw attack can allow you to skip a platform. Trick works in both the initial and reverse path through the area.

While climbing the spider track, when you reach about 1/3 of the way up the arch, boost off and re-press Z at the right time for your first timesaver. When you’ve reached a dead end on the new track, stop for a split second while still holding up and b, then boost off the track. If done correctly, you’ll collide with the left track, and be able to just barely land on to the final track.
