After having vertically climbed the spider track shown in the video, move a little to the left, then back right and immediately boost off the track. Press Z at the right moment and proceed to the ship missile expansion.

When you first enter the spider ball track, move as far to the right as possible without holding Z, and spring jump over the railing. Once you’ve fallen far enough, hold Z again to skip a fair chunk of the spider track puzzle. Later on, move up the diagonal-left part of the spider track as normal, but let go of Z at the end, catching the nearest track on your descent. The second video shows a spring sj you can do to skip 2 parts of the track near the end of the puzzle.
