Activate the jump pad, then use the jump pad with scan visor on to bump into the force field above. Scan the console each time it comes into view, and after a few scans the force field will be deactivated. When you finish the scan, you will be treated to watching Samus ping-pong between the jump pad and force field during the deactivation cut-scene.
