Power Bomb Expansion |
To do this, you have to get the Power Bomb Expansion as explained in X-Ray Visor early. As soon as you have your Power Bomb, you can go blast the Benzedelium wall blocking the access to the Phazon Mines elevator from Magmoor Caverns. That way, you enter Phazon Mines from the lower part, thus skipping the Crashed Frigate!
You can also take note that you can get a second Power Bomb Expansion in Magmoor Caverns, in the Warrior Shrine (where you get Artifact of Strenght), using your first Power Bomb.
Yet another note. If you skip the Frigate, you won't be able to break the stasis tank of the Elite Pirate for Artifact of Warrior. You have to pick up the main Power Bombs in Central Dynamo in order to be able to break this tank with your Power Bombs. That means that for a 27% run, you can't skip the Crashed Frigate.
