Notes:

Stand on the platform in front of the plasma door right at the top of root cave. Rotate left and look up a touch. A vine grows in a zig-zag pattern up the rock. Jump to the nearest and lowest horizontal section of this vine. Face out towards root cave, and jump outwards (forwards) into the chasm with your first jump and then back inwards (backwards) towards the plasma door with your space jump. The aim is to land on the invisible ceiling above the plasma door, so you need enough distance with your first jump to clear the edge of it and also enough height with your second to get on top of it. You will be stuck in the ceiling, so turn around, morph, and do a single bomb jump unmorph onto the green scenery. You should now be able to stand and jump properly, so just hop nonchalantly over the wall and out of the map.
