Notes:

Use a Dash Jump (left video) or R-Jump (right video) to skip the entire first part of the Phazon Mines.
If you have the Japanese, European or North American Player's Choice version of the game, and you want to use a Dash Jump, you'll need to lock on to a Mega Turret with the Combat Visor as shown below. It's also worth noting that in those versions, you can't enter Waste Disposal from Main Quarry until you have picked up the Power Bomb in Central Dynamo, or, for the North American Player's Choice version, the Power Bomb in Central Dynamo and the Grapple Beam. The door will have a security lock on it until then.
